The coinage of Dyme as a Roman Colony

Estimate: CHF 200.00

Semis (AE, 3.75 g, 20 mm, 7). As last but different reverse die and with, on Athena’s neck, the countermark of an owl in a circular indent. Amandry A II, 3 (same dies, but no countermark). RPC 1284 var. (no countermark). For the countermark, see Amandry A I and RPC 1283. Very rare, the only known semis of Dyme with a countermark usually found on the as. Brown patina. About very fine.
